Christmas Carols - 12 am

I hope that everyone is having a great day. Something you might want to do this year with your family is sing a Christmas carols on Christmas eve. It would be a nice family tradition to start. I think if I can get the time I will record some Christmas carols that I have sung and put them on here.

BREAKING NEWS! We may have a shot at tv news coverage but we need a visual gimmick like the one in the video below. The news people are asking me what exactly they are going to "see" at this write in and I hate to tell them "well nothing... just a bunch of people writing". If you have any ideas let me know. And if you think they should cover a meeting or the Aqua Java write-a-thon instead let me know!

New Moderator -

Your CCNANOWRIMO wike site has a new moderator, LadyMaeRudolph. Hi guys I am happy to announce that i am your new moderator. I work under philosopher. My job is to make viewing the pages easier and more elegant. I am also responsible for updating information when we are not having NANOWRIMO. Weekly Writing Challenges -

Hi guys this is another update. Today is the first day of the weekly writing challenges. I have a whole list of challenges that I will be adding to the current challenge page. Every week on Friday I will update the challenge page with another weekly challenge. I hope that these challenges help keep your mind fresh and creative. If you have any suggestions for the weekly writing challenges just drop me a message on my profile. - LadyMaeRudolph, Moderator

Weekly Editing Meeting -

Philosopher and I have agreed that it would be helpful if we had a weekly editing meeting in the discussion forum to help each other edit our stories. This will not only help members edit their stories faster, but it will also give us an idea of what a reader might see when they are reading them. This will start on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 3pm to 7pm. If you have any questions drop me a message on my profile. - LadyMaeRudolph, Moderator

TGIO PARTY - 9:00 pm

The party went well. Most of the winners showed up and one non winner. Everyone had a great time chatting about what had gone on and how they had done things throughout the month. We talked about our novels and about how we got through it. We also learned that our Co-ML next year is going to be Ensis and that our Site Moderator will be LadyMaeRudolph.

NEW WEBSITE - 1:00 pm

I created a new website yesterday that is for artists and writers to post their creations online and get feed back. All you have to do is join. Right now the site is really small, but i will be adding pages as it grows. Go here to see it My Creation Site: Artists & Writers . I hope that everyone enjoys it.

THE SNOWFLAKE METHOD - 4:00 pm

snowflakeWell if you haven't noticed I added a web link in the suggestion box that I think all of us should look at. A friend told be about it after I didn't finish out the month. It is basically a way to set up every thing about your story including the characters, and plot before hand so that you are prepared before hand. It also tells you interesting ways to write scenes our your story so that you can place them in any order you want later on. There are ten steps to this method. All these steps can be found at the link in the suggestion page. I think that if we use this we won't get confused about our characters or what direction our story is going in. We will also be able to rearrange our story easier after November is over.

Winner T-Shirts - 8:30 pm

I just recieved an e-mail about the winner shirts thirty minutes ago. The e-mail said -

Category: Breaking News

| Title: Winner's shirts are in!

Few in quantity and radiant in appearance, our first-ever NaNoWriMo winner's
shirts [1] are now in the store [2]. All proceeds from the shirts will go to
improving the NaNoWriMo and Young Writers Program websites for 2009. We'll
only be doing one more re-order of these babies, and the batch now in the
store is unfortunately the only group we'll be able to ship out before the
holidays.

Also, in case you wanted one of our great 10th anniversary shirts [3]: The
selection in the store now is the last we'll be selling. I think all sizes
are still available, but they're selling out quickly.

Thanks for supporting NaNoWriMo through your fine fashion choices!

Chris
